The Kelser Krew of nine employees, family and friends raised $3,266 towards the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
The crisp autumn air kept team members comfortable as they walked a two-mile route around Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in a display of support for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. According to current data on the Walk to End Alzheimer’s website, this year’s event has boasted 1,770 participants who have helped raise over $298,000 to date. Donations made through the end of the year will count towards the 2016 Walk.
“Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research,” according to the event’s website.
